Before joining SimplyBiz, Karl’s career time was with several high profiles product providers, latterly working in the Platform environment where he gained invaluable knowledge in RDR and practically working with Advisers to implement it. Over the last five years with SimplyBiz Karl has developed Business Consultancy and has worked with over 160 member firms. Business Consultancy provides a service in areas such as designing and documenting Client Propositions and CIPs by meeting Regulator expectations on how to charge clients, design an investment strategy, undertake product governance and carry out product and platform due diligence. In his spare time he plays guitar very loudly, and has been known to comment “You can never have too many of them” often.
